Why do Dual Enrollment?
Being “dual enrolled” means that you are a high school and college student at the same time. Why would you want to do this??
SRJC Counseling Support
Want to know about financial aid? What J.C. programs might interest you? How college credits work? SRJC offers same day drop-in, Zoom, and phone counseling sessions for all J.C. students, including YOU if you are dual enrolled.

How to thrive in your college class
What are some tricks and tips for being a college student? Watch this short video to learn what other dual enrolled high school students say.
How to use Canvas
Colleges all across the country use Canvas to assign coursework, give grades, and connect instructors with students. (Think Google Classroom but bigger!) Learning how to use Canvas well will help you tremendously.
How to apply and enroll in SRJC
To be a J.C. student, you must apply to the college and then fill out the Dual Enrollment form. This form must be signed by your parents and counselor before you can take a class. Watch THIS VIDEO for help in completing the form.
SRJC Calendar — 2024-25 School Year
Your SRJC and high school calendars will not be exactly in sync, so be sure to keep tabs on important dates: when classes start, the last day to drop, and when finals take place.
