ECC Internship Timeline

*Attend SCOE-led annual Launch Meeting

*Use recruitment materials (flyers, website, etc.) to recruit CTE students w/ at least one year of experience in pathway (counting current year)
*Report numbers to SCOE
*Give students surveys to assess interests and availability
*Share survey results w/ CTEF to begin outreach

*Help students apply, fill out dual enrollment forms for fall classes (COUN 6 or WEOC99)
*Fill out Add Code Worksheets for COUN 6 or WEOC99

Receive Add Codes from SRJC faculty; give to students for COUN 6 but don’t distribute for WEOC99 until student has internship lined up

*Help students register for COUN 6 for Fall semester and WEOC 99 for internship, if applicable
*Get support from SRJC outreach team in enrolling, registering students

*SRJC Fall semester starts; Fall internships begin
*Deadline for having placements and enrolling: one week after classes start
*Attend fall ECC Internship Orientation

*Help students apply, enroll, fill out add form for 99i internship and optionally, COUN 270
*Give students necessary permissions slips/forms (Internship Code of Conduct, etc.) and retain for your records

Forms
It is up to the Program Coordinator at each site to determine which forms are mandatory per school or district policy, who keeps the forms on file, and where. The survey should be administered in the spring for internships the following year.
